A Showcase of Greater Victoria’s Sector
February 17–19, 2016
Leading Victoria institutions including VIATEC and the City of Victoria are hosting A Capital Mission.
A Capital Mission is an invitation to discover all that Victoria has to offer. The trip starts today at Fort Tectoria, with introductions to the island as a home and workplace environment. Visitors will also enjoy Victoria’s various museums and culinary corners.
The event will finish on February 19, with a visit to Discover Tectoria. This is a one day public exhibition of Victoria’s homegrown technologies.
In our historic Crystal Garden Centre, visitors can check out the many activities, such as the Video Game Lounge, BCIC Startup Alley, University of Victoria’s Research District and the Trade Show.
It’s an opportunity for businesses to showcase their work and for students to see what makes a career in technology so great.
